About ISURA

The Iowa State University Retirees Association (ISURA) was formed in 1975 to provide a link between Iowa State University (ISU) and all ISU retired faculty, staff, and their spouses or partners. In 2006, ISURA became an active program of the ISU Alumni Association.

Membership is free for all ISU faculty, staff, and their spouses or partners. Upon retirement, a letter is sent to each retiree welcoming them to ISURA and inviting them to become involved.

For your convenience we also provide a link to a general list of retirement benefits from ISU.

Leadership

The ISURA’s board of directors is an official university committee whose members are appointed to represent each college, the University Library, Extension, the merit staff, the professional and scientific staff, and the University Benefits Committee.
