OLLI at Iowa State is committed to making lifelong learning accessible and engaging for class participants wherever they are.
To support a variety of learning preferences and needs, courses are offered through multiple delivery formats, including blended, hybrid, in-person, and online. Instructors and OLLI staff work together to determine the most effective format for each course.
BLENDED
A multiple-week course where some classes are in-person, and others are online only.
IN-PERSON
A single or multiple-week course where attendees meet in person. Hearing assistance devices are available.
IN-PERSON (HYBRID)
A single or multiple-week course where attendees meet in person while others meet online simultaneously. Hearing assistance devices are available.
ONLINE (HYBRID)
A single or multiple-week course where attendees meet online via Zoom while others meet in person simultaneously.

- A high-speed internet connection
- A computer, smartphone, iPhone, or iPad with speakers
- You may also use your phone to call in as if on a conference call
