Jamie Horbach, an Iowa State University alumna, is Director of Public Affairs at Iowa Select Farms. Her career centers on strengthening rural communities through public policy, with expertise in agriculture, housing, and healthcare. She leads policy, media, and stakeholder efforts while advancing philanthropic work through the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation.

Course Description

This course offers an overview of Iowa Select Farms, highlighting its role in pork production and its impact on people, animals, the environment, and communities. It covers farming sustainability, animal care practices, and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation, aiming to educate others about agriculture and the importance of supporting farmers.
